Privacy Policy

Desi Magic ("we") makes homemade mukhwaas in Mumbai and takes orders through Instagram direct messages at @desimagic.mukhwaas. This policy explains what information we handle when you visit www.desimagic.in or message us on Instagram, and what we do with it.

Our website

The website has no accounts, no forms, no advertising trackers and no analytics cookies. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Instagram messages

When you message us on Instagram, we receive your Instagram username and account ID, your messages, and any photos or files you send. You may also share your name, delivery address and phone number to place an order.

We use this information only to:

• answer your questions and send you our rate card;
• take, pack, deliver and follow up on your order, including confirming payment;
• handle complaints, returns and bulk-order enquiries.

Automated replies

We use an automated assistant to send first replies to Instagram messages. When you message us:

• Your message and the recent messages in your conversation with us are processed by an AI model running on Cloudflare Workers AI, which drafts the reply. Cloudflare processes this data only to provide the service to us, and does not use it to train AI models.
• If your message needs our personal attention (for example an order, payment, delivery question or complaint), the owner of Desi Magic receives a Telegram notification with your Instagram username and a short excerpt of your message.
• Our system keeps small technical records for a short time, such as message IDs to avoid duplicate replies, and a note that a person has taken over a chat. These records expire automatically, within 24 hours for most of them. We do not keep a separate copy of your conversations. Your message history stays in Instagram.

A real person reads and handles every order. You can ask to speak to a person at any time.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers named above (Meta/Instagram, Cloudflare and Telegram, which delivers our notifications) so that they can provide their services to us, with delivery partners (your name, address and phone number, only to deliver your order), or where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep order details (name, address, phone, what you ordered) only as long as we need them to deliver your order, handle any follow-up, and meet accounting and legal requirements. Instagram keeps your conversations with us under Instagram's own privacy policy.

Your choices and deleting your data

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you. To do so, send us an Instagram DM at @desimagic.mukhwaas with the words "Delete my data". We will delete your order details and technical records within 30 days and confirm by DM. Records that we must legally keep, such as invoices, are an exception. You can also delete the conversation from your own Instagram inbox at any time.

If you do not want automated replies, tell us in the chat and a person will handle your messages instead.

Children

Our service is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top. For any privacy question or request, message us on Instagram at @desimagic.mukhwaas.
